Edmond, Deaton & Stephens Insurance Agency, Inc. was formed when two “friendly competitors” came together to start their own company in 1992.  The agency was purchased by another “friendly competitor” (Duncan, Fraser & Bridges) in January of 2006.  Over the last nearly 20 years, we have built a reputation for honest, efficient, and professional service.  We are a full service insurance agency providing property, casualty, life insurance, health insurance and employee benefits for businesses, families, and individuals.  

Edmond, Deaton & Stephens is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Texas and operates out of three offices in Amarillo, Pampa and Borger (for information about our Pampa and Borger offices – click here).  We work with clients in a wide range of industries and our commercial clients include public entities, privately held corporations, and non-profit organizations.  We are capable of providing insurance in all 50 states and have helped place insurance for companies with international operations as well. 

Edmond, Deaton & Stephens is member of Combined Agents of America. Combined Agents of America (CAA) is a group of independently owned and operated agencies located in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.  In 2010, we collectively produced over $410 million in premium making CAA, and Edmond, Deaton & Stephens, one of the largest insurance agencies in America.  

In 2010, we were recognized as a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. We were among over 1,200 independent agencies nominated by our peers and only 224 qualified for this honor.  We are proud of our staff and their hard work that helped us to achieve this recognition by our peers.
